語り継ぐことは「忘れない」ためだけではなく「新しい命を守る」ため。子どもと一緒に語り合う、魂をつなぐ物語。

私たち日和幼稚園遺族有志の会は、2011年３月１１日に発生した東日本大震災で娘を亡くした母親２人で、二度と娘たちのようなことが起こらないように無我夢中で伝え続け、気がついたら震災から１3年の歳月が過ぎていました。あの時に心をえぐられた心の傷は、今も癒えることはありません。その間も毎日のように天国にいる娘たちから残された親へのメッセージは何だろう……と考えてきました。今思うそのメッセージは、「自分たち（亡くなった娘）のような犠牲となる子どもがいなくなるように親として『伝え続けて』」ということでした。

We, the Hiyori Kindergarten Survivors’ Association, are two mothers who lost their daughters in the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011. We worked tirelessly to spread the message so that what happened to our daughters would never happen again, and before we knew it, 13 years had passed since the disaster. The wounds that were torn from our hearts at that time have not yet healed. During that time, we wondered every day what message our daughters in heaven could give to their parents. The message we now think of is, “As parents, we should continue to spread the message so that no other children will become victims like us (our deceased daughters).”
