Mother’s lullaby

くまの兄妹たちが寝る前、子守歌を歌ってくれるくまの母さん。嵐が来た日、母さんは出かけたきり二度と戻りませんでした。元気をなくした兄妹たちでしたが、母さんのあの子守歌が外から聞こえてきます。東日本大震災の津波で亡くなった母から手紙が届いたという実際にあった奇跡から生まれた絵本です。

The bear’s mother sings lullabies to him and his siblings before they go to bed. The day the storm came, she went out and never came back. The siblings had lost their energy, but they could hear their mother singing that lullaby from outside. This picture book was born from an actual miracle of receiving a letter from the mother who died in the tsunami caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
