避難訓練が小さな命を救う「奇跡の保育園」はなちゃんの通う保育園では、月に一度、避難訓練があります。でも、のんびりやのはなちゃんは、いつもおくれてしまうので、はやあるきの練習をすることにしました。そんなある日、とつぜんおおきな地震がおこったのです。3月11日、90名の小さな命を救ったのは「避難訓練」でした。「奇跡の脱出」としてニュースになった、岩手県野田村保育所をもとにした絵本。のんびりやのはなちゃんが、保育園の子どもたちが、じっさいにおきてしまった災害に立ち向かいます。じぶんでじぶんの命をまもることの大切さを伝えるお話。
