大地震で大好きなおばあちゃんと犬のポロを同時になくした、たける。ある日、おばあちゃんの家のあとを訪ねると玄関に「天国ポスト」と書かれたポストを発見。たけるは半信半疑でそのポストに手紙を入れた。落ち着かないたけるが、再度おばあちゃんの家のあとに行くと、ポストはなくなっていた。数日後、たけるが学校から家に帰ると手紙が…。
