3.11の福島第一原発事故以降、私たちは放射能汚染の恐怖と向き合いながら生活していかなければならなくなりました。特に放射能の影響を受けやすい子どもを持つ親たちは、未来を案じ大きな不安を抱えています。
そんななか、子育て中の母親たちを中心にインターネット上で大きな反響を呼んだ作品があります。「たしかにべんりになるけれど これは『ばくだんになるもの』じゃないの?」–そんな人々の不安の声はどう封じられ、どうやって原発が作られてきたか。3.11以降、人々の生活はどう変わってしまったか、数世代先の未来に何が起こるのか。
著者は小さな子供を持つ主婦と会社員の男性というごく普通の人たちです。ひらがなだけの文章と絵で綴られている本作は、ブログ公開とともに大きな反響を呼び、小さな子どもの母親たちを中心に共感の声が寄せられました。このたび、その話題作の絵と文を描き直し紙の絵本オリジナル版として刊行します。
本作に描かれる未来は、決して明るいものではありません。けれど、子どもから大人まで、ぜひ多くの方に読んでいただき、その未来を明るいものにするには何をすればいいのか、みんなで考えてほしいと思います。 原発事故を受けて、ブログに発信した文から生まれた本です。放射性物質の影響は、目に見えな

Since the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant on March 11, we have had to live with the fear of radioactive contamination. In particular, parents of children who are vulnerable to radiation are worried about the future and have great anxiety.
In such a situation, there is a work that has caused a great response on the Internet, mainly among mothers raising children. “Sure, it’s going to be bento, but isn’t this something that becomes ‘stupid’?” –How were people’s voices of anxiety silenced, and how were nuclear power plants built? How has people’s lives changed since 3.11, and what will happen several generations in the future?
The authors are quite ordinary people: housewives with small children and office workers. This work, which is written in hiragana only in writing and pictures, received a great response when the blog was released, and sympathetic voices were received, mainly from mothers of small children. This time, the pictures and sentences of the popular work will be redrawn and published as the original edition of the picture book on paper.
The future depicted in this work is by no means bright. However, I hope that many people, from children to adults, will read this book and think about what they should do to make their future brighter. This book was born from a sentence posted on a blog in response to the nuclear power plant accident. The effects of radioactive materials are invisible. It depicts the fear and anxiety of being scared. It is a picture book with a strong message for adults.
