福島市にある「こどものいえそらまめ」は、シュタイナーの教育学に基づき、保育実践をしている保育施設です。「幼児期は、風にそよがれ、草花を摘み、虫と戯れて育つもの」という保育を願っていましたが、放射性物質に汚染されてしまいます。　子どもたちを守るために、いち早く除染を行ったようすが、同園の保育士の文と絵で描かれています。 支援の輪も広がりましたが、絵本は「つづく･･･」という重いことばで終わっています。 「やっぺはぁ」は「やりましょう!」の福島弁で、 英訳すると、「Let’s Do It!」すべての文に英訳が付いています。
