お父さんとお母さんを津波にさらわれ失った兄妹“健太”と“美羽”。悲しみをかかえ、笑うことも泣くこともせず、ぼんやり過ごすようになってしまった二人だったが、山で叫んだときに返ってきたやまびこの声を聞いて、あることに気づき、生きる力をもらうのだった。一緒に暮らすようになった祖母の優しさと、山間の大自然が、傷ついた二人の心を癒やしていく様子が丁寧に描かれる。 ※ 震災で両親を亡くした兄妹とその祖母の物語
