おさとうやまは東松島に佐藤善文さんが建てた施設避難所を昔話風に絵本にしたものです。この施設避難所は東日本大震災の時には数十人の人命を救いました。津波避難の際の津波避難ビルに相当する概念を伝える貴重な文化財だと思います。震災から３年が経ち、震災の叡智が風化しないように絵本として残しました。

※ 震災の後に個人で津波避難所を設立した佐藤善文氏の話。英語版やロシア語版、ウクライナ語版も出されている。藤枝雅博は京都大学大学院生。高彩堂は東松島の印刷業者。震災で被害を受けた東松島市立野蒜小学校の校舎を改装した防災体験型宿泊施設「KIBOTCHAキボッチャ）」で販売されている。クラウドファンディングにより再出版と各国語翻訳が行われた。

Osatoyama is a picture book of a facility shelter built by Yoshifumi Sato in Higashimatsushima in the style of an old tale. This shelter saved dozens of lives during the Great East Japan Earthquake. I think it is a valuable cultural asset that conveys the concept equivalent of a tsunami evacuation building in the event of a tsunami evacuation. Three years have passed since the disaster, and I have left it as a picture book so that the wisdom of the disaster will not fade away.
* The story of Mr. Yoshifumi Sato, who established a tsunami evacuation center privately after the earthquake. English, Russian and Ukrainian versions are also available. Masahiro Fujieda is a graduate student at Kyoto University. Takasaido is a printer in Higashimatsushima. It is sold at the disaster prevention experience accommodation facility “KIBOTCHA Kibocha”, which was renovated from the school building of Higashimatsushima Municipal Nohiru Elementary School, which was damaged by the earthquake. It was republished and translated into various languages through crowdfunding.
