3.11の直後、東北に石油や灯油を届けるために、ディーゼル機関車が活躍したのをご存知ですか? 全国から集められたディーゼル機関車たちが、新潟から福島の郡山へと走ったのです。最初に出発したのが、デーデです。途中、雪でスリップし、立ち往生してしまいます。なんとか郡山に着いたときには、予定の時刻を、3時間過ぎていました。それでも、みんな待っていてくれ、とても喜んでくれました。実話が元になった絵本です。

Did you know that immediately after 3.11, diesel locomotives were active in delivering oil and kerosene to Tohoku? Diesel locomotives collected from all over the country ran from Niigata to Koriyama in Fukushima. The first place we set out was Dade. On the way, you slip in the snow and get stuck. When I managed to arrive in Koriyama, it was three hours past the scheduled time. Still, everyone was waiting and very pleased. It is a picture book based on a true story.
