水道の水も出なくなりましたが、一軒の古い家の井戸には水がありました。濁っていた水は、不思議なことにしだいに澄んでいき、汲んでも汲んでもつきません。死者と生き残った者の魂の交流を井戸水に託して描いています。この本の作者と画家は、共に震災・津波で四千人の死者を出した石巻市に在住です。
